!!!WARNING FOR
BUYERS !!!
Syncon & Subs Paid Homeowners
$7,000,000
for Construction
Defects

First,
we have made all attempts to work diligently with Syncon Homes to repair the
construction defects we have identified in the home. Some have been
repaired, others have had multiple attempts at repair but remain in an
unacceptable condition, and others remain unrepaired or are possibly in
contention. Now that a more serious defect has been identified, the
entire fiasco has become unacceptable to us.
The situation has resulted in our need to hire an
attorney to represent
our interests by ultimately filing a Construction Defects Lawsuit.
We wish we didn't need to do it, but Syncon
Homes has left us with no other alternatives.
Our hope lies in the fact that we have hired the
same attorney who prevailed against Syncon
Homes in a recent Construction Defects
lawsuit. Here's a link that discusses the Construction
Defect lawsuit. The homes
involved in the earlier lawsuit were in Douglas County, Nevada, the same
County as our home.
Syncon
Homes and their sub-contractors were ordered to pay
homeowners:
$7,000,000.00
to repair Syncon Homes'
construction defects.
The repair of water intrusion problems,
unacceptable site drainage, and mold were just some of the defects Syncon
Homes was ordered to pay to have fixed for the homeowners. They
were ordered to pay in 2006.
